Electro-Phobic non-Wannabe Electrician

I bought a house last year and have pretty much remodeled the whole place. I even replaced all the electric sockets. Now.. this is a big deal because I am really freaked out by electricity. I got shocked once when I was working at this pizza place. I reached into the bowels of a deep fryer to see what was wrong with it and boom! .. woke up on the other side of the kitchen.

So I replaced the outlet in my bathroom. The one with the "thingy to reset it". That is my best explanation. My buddies are rattling off some acronyms C.F.Somthing, but to me, its that outlet by every other sink with the thingy you press.
Of course I replaced it with somthing incorrect and now both bathroom sink outlets dont work. So, this could be my last week on earth. Im going to attempt to reinstall the outlet. The electro-phobic electrician not-wannabe.
