Some Eye Candy

I went to the Beach last weekend to hang out with my good friends. It was fantastic. The perks of Global Warming were much appreciated while I was there. Craig and I went out to shoot some photos on Saturday. (here are a few) It was absolutely theraputic to see Craig and Dani. Thanks again guys.

Headin' Home!

Ok.. yes it's true that I live with my lovely wife in Gaithersburg, but this weekend, I am heading down to Ocean City to hang out with some of my closest friends.. Craig And Dani.

*Craig is Hulk Hogan http://www.desimon.com/blog/2006/10/halloween-again.html

I used to live with them back in my depressed alien days. (inside joke so nevermind).
I'm completely stoked to be going there because if there is really any place in the states that is home to me it's there.

I want to head to the ocean and shoot it with my new camera filters.. hopefully I will be able to post some nice images.. till then.. ciao.

Evangelical Scientists Refute Gravity With New 'Intelligent Falling' Theory

Evangelical Scientists Refute Gravity With New 'Intelligent Falling' Theory
KANSAS CITY, KS—As the debate over the teaching of evolution in public schools continues, a new controversy over the science curriculum arose Monday in this embattled Midwestern state. Scientists from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning are now asserting that the long-held "theory of gravity" is flawed, and they have responded to it with a new theory of Intelligent Falling.

Back to Reality

Well.. we flew home on Friday. Our flight from Paris to JFK was great. We flew in a 747-400 which is those really big jets with the 2 floors. We sat up on the second floor, and let me say, if you ever get a chance, sit up there.. its was great. Lots of room, not many seats so the service was great.

We did have trouble at JFK. Our flight was delayed 2 hours, then, once on the plane, we sat on the runway for 2 hours before taking off. Our luggage didn't make it to DC.. WE were exhausted, but we finally got home, got our luggage delivered at 2am on Sunday morning. :)

We both went back to work today and it really made me realize how great the time off was, however, we hung out Saturday night with some good friends, had friends over Sunday. Our life here is pretty good.. so until next year I'll be OK.

Thanks for the posts, emails, etc.. Now.. back to your regularly scheduled blog..

I am lost as to the days now.

I am totally lost as to the days, I stopped keeping track.
Suffice it to say we've had a GREAT time.
On Dec. 30 we travelled to Krakow. This is absolutely the best city in Europe in my opinion.
Ania and I would really love to relocate there.

We took a small bus.
We walked around much of the old city, ate at a Georgian restaurant (no.. not the one with Atlanta) and we really enjoyed ourselves.

**Nina.. you would really love the museum we saw..

We are leaving in a few days and this will probably be my last blog before we return.. I don't want to think about home right now so I'll save it for the weekend when we return.

To all of you guys who have written, thanks for keeping in touch with us and watching our travels (as best you could with my slacking on the blog).

Here are some pics of our trip to Krakow. When I return I will post a image gallery of all the pics.
(I have 1000's at this point)

See you in the states next week. :0(

Poland: Day 10

Ania went back to Katowice today to see her friends and stay the night there. I went on a long hike with Ula, Jurek, Beata, Janek, Helena, Bertik, & Gregor to the church I was at 2 days before. It was a very long hike and on the way home we stopped at my favorite restaurant Stara Karczma for a beer. Ate, slept, ate, read, slept. Wow.. I don't miss work. (Sorry Woody)

Poland Day 9: Christmas

Whole day in bed.

Day 8: Christmas Eve Contd.

Ok.. so I dont have the pics from xmas eve but here is how the day went.

Today is the biggest day of the christmas holiday here in Poland. We had a great dinner that consisted of goose, potatoes, saurkrout, other meat called rollade and many other good things
We opened our gifts, we got many fine things.. and then it turned..You see Jurek, Uncle Bertik, and I started drinking Luksusowa (Polish Potatoe Vodka) I got wrecked. The whole crew (with exception of Jureks son Michal and I) went to midnight mass. I stayed with my friend Luksusowa and it was a bad idea.

I'd rather not include any photos right now..

Merry Christmas.
