Welcome To The Comfort Suites (FYI.. this is nasty)

Well, I've been in San Antonio, Texas since Sunday Night. The flight was long, the rental car bus drove off as I was 3 paces away from it, and I got lost finding the hotel. Let's just say I saw a barrio or 2. I got in at about 3am and had to be up at 5:30.

My hotel room is the most bizarre thing. There is a kitchen, living room, and a tv room with a full size couch suspended from the ceiling. (and it's about 2 1/2 feet from the tv) It makes no sense. I do have a jaccuzi and a porch, but my view is of an electrical sub-station.

I can handle weird, but then I discovered that someone lost a lot of blood.. on my comforter. I turned the comforter over and prominently displayed the crime scene for the housekeeping staff to see it. Well.. yeah.. they put it back on the bed. (it's about 1.5 feet wide.)

Then there's the toilet.

Ok.. beyond that, I've been working but today I had a chance to walk the Riverwalk.

The rest of the town is crappy, but the riverwalk is really nice.

I can't wait to fly home Friday.

Hello from Vegas. I'm here at a technology conference on e-Learning.
Fun Fun Fun.. I'm quite over Vegas. I can't see what people who live here do.. theres nice mountains etc.. although thats about it. The Casinos get old even for tourists.
That said, I took a couple of nice photos. The flight over was cool. We flew very high and crossed the rockies.

Maybe Ceasers would like to buy the pic :)

I'm looking forward to going home to Ania.
I won $20 on the penny slots, but immidiately lost it on the $1 slots. Ohh well.. at least I'm even.
